This experience will take you to 2 different UNESCO World Heritage sites. The ancient city of Pompeii, one of the most visited archaeological sites in the world, was destroyed by the enormous amount of volcanic ash and pumice stone that erupted from Vesuvius during the eruption of 79 AD. The first stop will be in Pompeii and will last 2 hours and, if you wish, you can choose, as an option, to book a walking tour of the archaeological excavations with an archaeological guide, who will take you to discover the Lupanar, the Forum, or the various Pompeian houses. The tour will then continue along the Sorrento coast for a stop in Sorrento, the jewel of the Sorrento peninsula. Here, you can stroll through the alleys that lead to Piazza Tasso, the main square of Sorrento. From here, just a few meters away, you will find a railing that introduces you to a breathtaking view of the famous Vallone dei Mulini and then the port of Marina Piccola and Marina Grande. So, stroll through the characteristic little streets of Sorrento, full of shops and typical little restaurants. The tour will finally continue along the Amalfi Coast, arriving in Positano, an ancient fishing village and today one of the main destinations in our region. Enjoy the stunning view of the houses seen from above as you descend to the center of Positano where you can enjoy the flavors and colors of the products of our region. The return trip to Naples will take on average 1 hour and 30 minutes.
